2016/65 Rolls-Royce Phantom VII Series II in Darkest Tungsten over Seashell Hide with black piping and Black Stained Ash Veneer.
Registered new through Rolls-Royce Sunningdale in January 2016, Sunningdale continued to look after the car maintenance wise all the way through to 2021 when our client purchased the vehicle from them. Naturally they supplied the car with RR Provenance warranty which has only recently expired.
Rolls-Royce London have just completed a full service and changed a few items under its previous warranty including its rear brake pads. Now offered for sale with a recent full clean bill of health.
Finished in a wonderful colour combination and featuring the ‘all important’ Coachline (in contrasting Seashell); the exterior also features 21-inch fully polished 10 spoke alloys – which work perfectly against the steel details around the rest of the car.
As the rear coach doors open to welcome you into a cosseting private interior that showcases the work of Goodwood’s master craftsmen. Above you is the ‘must have’ Starlight Headliner, with up to 800 optic fibres positioned by hand to create the impression of a romantic night sky. Notably the headlining in this Phantom is also grey – a £9,500 option from factory.
This example was specified with a plethora of extra’s, totalling over £33k when new – such as heated front/ rear seats to keep you and fellow passengers relaxed on even the longest of journeys. Those in the back can also enjoy the advantages of the Rear Theatre Configuration – allowing you to be able to watch TV or a DVD on one or both of the two 12″ screens that fold flat into the backs of the front seats. The screens are mounted within fold down picnic tables, which have been veneered in Black Stained Ash to match the rest of the interior; and passengers can even use the system to send information to the driver.
Originally launched in 2003, Phantom 7 was the first Rolls-Royce developed and introduced after BMW purchased the right to use the Rolls-Royce name and logo in 1998. It was the seventh Rolls-Royce design to use the Phantom nameplate.
It is credited with successfully reviving the Rolls-Royce brand and restoring Rolls-Royce's reputation as a maker of luxury automobiles.
In May 2012, Rolls-Royce announced the Series II car, to be available from the 2013 model year. Series II, exterior design updates by Andreas Thurner and interior design updates by Alan Sheppard, has a number of updated and improved features including the replacement of round lower front light with a contemporary rectangular LED, single-piece wheels, improved audio, telecoms and connectivity systems, a simplified dashboard including an enlarged 8 inches LCD screen and a new 8 speed box to name a few changes.
